You must be feeling some cookie regret right now. This is only because I am usually there during Christmas week. Stretchy pants, stretchy pants.
What if we replace some of the decadence in our lives with a superfood smoothie that only has five ingredients? This is what I thought everyone could use…
This smoothie begins with a base made of frozen berries. Since I cannot bear to go without berries in the winter, buying frozen berries at the grocery store is the best solution. They are also a great base for healthy smoothies.
In recent months, I have been adding silken tofu instead of almond butter or peanut butter in my smoothies. I do this often in this smoothie. It’s optional, but I consider it because it is already so creamy and nutritious.
Oh, mama. Oh, mama.
